Go for Gorilla Tracking Adventure
Uganda is known for its Mountain Gorillas that are protected in the famous Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Mgahinga National Park. Both parks are located in south western Uganda. Most tourists visit Uganda to track mountain gorillas, in the two tropical rain forests. On a trekking expedition into the tropical rain forests you will track mountain gorillas and you will spend one hour with a gorilla family.
While in Bwindi, you can also spend four hours with the great apes on a Gorilla Habituation Experience that is only done in the Rushaga Sector of Bwindi. This experience doesn’t come on a silver plate since it costs US$1500 per person.
Uganda, not Rwanda, not the Democratic Republic of Congo has the Gorilla Habituation Experience. A very limited group of visitors are allowed to participate in the Habituation Experience.

Spot the Big five
If you are traveling for a Ugandan safari, there is little doubt one of the things you will fancy to do is spot the Big Five, the five hardest animals hunt on foot. This highly popular group includes the Lion, Cape Buffaloes, African elephant, leopard, and the Rhino.
Do Chimpanzee Tracking
Chimpanzees and humans share over 98 percent of their DNA. Reach a fascinating distance of just about 8m observing our closest relatives while trekking in the forests of Uganda especially in Kibale National park.
You observe them swing from one tree to another, feed, play about or progress speedily on the ground right in front of you. You can see chimpanzees at Kibale or Budongo forest.

The Batwa People have lived for over 500,000 years in the forests of Southwest Uganda leaving a small ecological footprint.Their history, their ways of living are unique and you can experience their lifestyle while with them in the forest, seeing the forest through the eyes of its original people in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, and Mgahinga Gorilla Park.
A visit to the Batwa People will be most rewarding since most visitors have no clue who these people, who lived here for over 500,000 years area, but you can find out on a forest walk with them. These used to stay with the mountain gorillas in the same forest.
Visit the Ishasha sector for the tree climbing Lions
The Ishasha Area is one of the best areas in all of East Africa for Tree-Climbing Lions.It is located inside the southern area of Queen Elizabeth Park half-way from Mweya to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.
